La Cour constitutionnelle du Bénin a définitivement proclamé à Cotonou le président sortant, Patrice Athanase Guillaume Talon président du Bénin, et sa colistière Mariam Chabi Talata.
Ces derniers ont été élus au premier tour du scrutin présidentiel du dimanche 11 avril dernier, avec 1.982.534 voix sur 2.297.315 suffrages exprimés.
Patrice Talon, 62 ans, devient le 14ème chef d'Etat du Bénin.
